You have to be ready to commit to this because it does what it says on the tin.

This is a picture book with no pictures and your child (best for 4-6 I’d say) will love it. Because to read it to them is to engage in the silliest of behaviour.

Written as if the child is in on the secret you must read every word with the emphasis assigned. So if it is ordinary text then an ordinary voice but big or bold or italics require some emphasis. And your child will be giggling as you sing that you “eat ants for breakfast”.

Probably not the best book for calming them down before bedtime but it will be much requested.
