Everyone knows the traditional wooden track.
Most of us start off buying something like basic in a figure of eight.
Then over time we get drawn in to buying a few accessories like turntables, and level crossings and suspension bridges and engine sheds and points and tunnels….

And then the track layouts get complicated and you have to mess around with different straight and curve combinations to make it all join up.
So one of the best things we found to help was the Bigjigs Crazy Track. At £8-ish for two it seems like a lot but it is so worth it i the time saved messing around. With two train mad sons it was an investment worth making.
